Summer Rhubarb smoothie with crushed almonds
Refreshing summer smoothie perfect as a snack or part of a breakfast. Bacause of its sweetnes from apple juice will even do as a dessert.
Ingredients:
-3 rhubarb stalk
-2 handfuls of sweet strawberrie
-glass of apple juice
-optional teaspoon of agave nectar
-Tablespoon of crushed almond or nut butter
Making:
Cut rhubarb into pieces. Put it into oven for 10 min at 180 Celcius degrees, or saute it in a pot.
When it soft and cool blend it with straw berries and juice. I used home made one, which is always better. Add some agave nectar if not sweet enough.
Add almond on top.
